ZABA is Glass Animal's debut album that released in 2014.

Inspired by the children's book "The Zabajaba Jungle" by William Steig, the heavily atmospheric album takes the audience on a mysterious journey through the jungle during which they encounter various anthropomorphic animals.

HOW TO BE A HUMAN BEING

Released in 2016, How to Be a Human Being is a sonic collage inspired by the fascinating individuals Dave and the band encountered while touring ZABA. To bring these characters to life, Dave developed intricate storylines and character boards, each reflected in the album’s cover art. Every track immerses the listener in a different character’s world, offering a glimpse into their life, emotions, and unique perspective.

HTBAHB is also the album that cemented the pineapple as the band's mascot! 🍍

DREAMLAND

In 2020—a year of profound change for many—Glass Animals released Dreamland, an album deeply rooted in frontman Dave Bayley’s reflections on his past and the experiences that shaped him. Among its tracks was Heat Waves, a song that would propel the band into mainstream recognition, becoming a defining moment in their career.

Glass Animals released their most recent album last summer (2024), four years after Dreamland. Each track on the album targets a unique experience of love and brings it to life.
